I never knew this type of lining existied for this purpose. This is for an old house we recently purchased. It has a basement, which is highly unusual in California, but the crawl space surrounding the basement is quite scary. The previous owners had slid items into the crawl space and it seems like a daunting task to clean it up. Then one day, scrolling though Amazon, I see this! What a great idea.

Ours is a 90 year old brick house. We need to keep the moisture out. Hopefully, this is a step in the right direction. The liner is thick and dense. It looks simple enough to work with, considering the task at hand is so daunting. But it seems that once it is done, the thought of going in the crawl space won't be as scary.

At 10 mil, this sheeting will be much heavier than you'd usually get at the store for a drop cloth and will withstand more use.

Price point is good for a large, thick drop cloth of this variety.

In practice, it held up beautifully and kept things protected.

when we opened the box and took off wrapper discovered a large gash in vapor barrier. Kind of defeats the purpose! we had to remove about 20 feet to not have a problem.

Take these up for a grow room time building. Seals out any external moisture and keeps in the humidity. I have yet to find out its reflective properties, so I don’t know if it’s equivalent to the panda sheeting but it’s at least a sealed barrier for my room. I have however, used my PAR meter to test the PPMs and I’m getting similar levels as the panda sheeting. Worst case scenario I will cover the surface with my Mylar and still save money. The sheeting is thick and very tear resistant and can be jointed in many different ways. I’ve been using waterproof tape I found on Amazon very good product with many uses. Highly recommended.

Using this in my crawl space. Works so much better than the typical plastic thin visqueen.
