It's a good thickness and I can't believe how big of a difference it has made in our crawl space. A good amount comes on a roll, but you'll probably need to order more to do the whole thing for most size houses. It's fairly easy to 'install'. Good product - I recommend.

Certified good 10mil sheet plastic.
I just want to add that if you are putting multiple sheets together, splicing, or need to fix rips or holes,
you need to use tape specifically for Polyethelene. This is a very slick dense plastic and is the same material that 5 gallon buckets and 55 gallon barrels are made of and regular tapes don't stick to it very well, if they stick at all.
This year's migrating Mormon Cricket invasion destroyed our in-ground vegetable, grass, and weeds. Despite the devastating loss of our in-ground garden, we remained optimistic about our raised garden beds. When the crickets learned that they could climb the walls of our raised garden beds, that hope vanished quickly. Frustrated, I looked into alternatives and discovered a way in which a man covered his raised garden beds with a 10 mm vapor barrier. He sealed his raised garden bed, which has been safe for four years now, by digging a 6-inch ditch around the base, burying the barrier, and anchoring it to the beds.
My husband and I were desperate to make the most of our remaining gardening season, so we tried this approach. We immediately got to work after ordering the 10 mil (10' x 25') Crawl Space Vapor Barrier. As directed, we dug the trench, buried the barrier, and fastened it to our raised garden beds.
I sincerely appreciate the recommendation! We have seen good results from our garden produce since we used this technique. The remaining plants are thriving quite well. Even if there is no longer any grass in our yard and it seems barren, we now have hopes for a bountiful harvest. We have found this vapor barrier to be a really helpful tool, and I would heartily recommend it to anyone experiencing similar problems.
I love getting rolls of material like this. My usual thought is if it can be folded, it’s not thick enough unless it’s a really small piece so this one hit my happy factor by being a roll
The weight and thickness was more than I would’ve expected which is a bonus..
I have a large crawlspace project that I need to do. It’s about 1300 ft.² one more and one of the biggest things that people do is they buy a good quality product like this but they use crappy tape.
Make sure that when you buy your tape that you get rubber tape. Nowadays, they make it white, but normally it was black as it was very stretchy and the mastic thickness on the back was a lot.
Without the chances of your coming up and your seams will start to leak
This is a very good quality and I am very impressed. I am looking forward to using this, but I’m not looking forward to doing the crawlspace as mine is very damp.
You gotta do what I gotta do. Don’t forget to throw a few foggers in there and kill those black widows.
I highly recommend that purchases and just remember if you are unsatisfied you have 30 days to return it through Amazon. Good luck your decision and have a safe week
